it's been a while ...
... and I don't really have anything interesting to post. Just a catch up really on what's been happening which has mostly been frantic running around in preparation for this coming Saturday as we head into 13 weeks of hell. It's going well so far, we're ahead of schedule and have several episodes already finished and ready for the button to be pushed.

I've just finished logging Ep 2 of ours (both versions), Ep 1 was done today at work which means PasCs here I come (meh!). My Production Secretary has decided to leave us which leaves me with all the paperwork for which I was decidedly not ready! And Scottie, lovely Scottie, is leaving us for bigger and better paid jobs in Drama so we have no walking Classic Series dictionary any more. We've warned him he'll be kidnapped every weekend for the next 13 weeks to help me out (that didn't go down so well), or failing that will be receiving many phonecalls pleading for help identifying clips.

We finished filming Series 4 today. Yes, Ladies & Gentlemen, the last series for a while has now finished ... apart from some pick-ups maybe. We're all off to the cinema tomorrow night for the cast and crew screening of episodes 1 & 2, can't wait to see them on the big screen given how awesome the trailer looked. And I can honestly say that Episode 1 is my favourite season opener to date, just you wait and see!

What else? Um ... apart from the panic work is ticking over as per normal. Nothing interesting to report (hence the lack of posts). Sister is due to give birth this month and has so far consisted of phonecalls detailing pregnancy in a way they never tell you til it's too late to do anything about it. Scott and Gary are moving flats on Saturday to my side of the Bay. I have to sell my car before my osteopath kills me. I hate the fact the clocks have changed as it's screwed up my bodyclock like you wouldn't believe. I'm hoping at some point this year I'll actually start writing the Methos story I've been toying with for a decade. Oh, which reminds me! I joined the PWFC again, it's been a decade since I was last a member of Peter Wingfield's fanclub and I have to say it's all [info]pat_t's fault. Yah.

Apologies to [info]suzvoy for missing your birthday on the 14th, I hope you had a fab day. Apologies to anyone else who's birthday I missed. Apologies for missing Easter I was digging my car out of all the snow (but of course, because nothing says Easter quite like a snow storm in England!). Apologies all round for anything else I may have forgotten. And especially to [info]in_the_bottle for not sending the poster yet; I got all excited because I remembered to buy a cardboard tube the other week only to discover yesterday that it's too small for the poster. I'll get there. Promise.

Did I cover everything? ...

Hi. I hope everything goes well for you and all the insanity you are about to endure I'm sure. I also hope that you had a good Easter. I was in England for Easter and was surprised to find it snowing but it was a good surprise. The weather wasn't great but I had a blast with my sister and friend. I can't wait to go back again. It will be the third time. Every time is different I can't get enough. Now I need to go somewhere besides London and am looking forward to that adventure as well. I don't know if you remember seeing as we do not talk much but I was the one who asked you what you did a while back and told I wanted to do the same thing and that I was thinking about going to school in the UK or graduate studies. We also coincidently have the same birthday. Right now I work as a duplication technician for the discovery channel but am actually going to Prague in the fall to teach English as a foreign language. I hope I will find out what want to do during that time. I would still like to work in the industry and I would very much like to try my hand at producing. I thank you for all you info that you could give me I have really learned a lot. Don't get too stressed or at least try not to.

Of course I remember you, apologies for not replying sooner!

Good luck with Prague and if you do decide to go into the industry with an eye towards Producing good luck with that too. It's certainly a hell of a ride!

And, definitely, the next time you come to the UK, go see somewhere other than London - there are far better places than the capital to visit ;)

I know your busy I don't expect a reply soon at all. Thanks and I am sure I will definitely try to get back into the biz when I finish my little adventure. Hopefully more to what I want to do once I figure that all out fully : ) I have already planned out where I would like to go. My sister and I want to see everything in the UK so hopefully while we are closer we will be able to do so. If not I'm sure we will find a way. Plus we can travel to other countries as well which we are definitely looking forward to try and do. Good luck again. Stay as stress free as you can.

Trust me, snowing in Easter is still waaaay better than the 40C heatwave we got over here.

And don't worry about the poster, take your time. I have no idea where to put it up anyway, and yes, I also have stuff that I've been meaning to send you for a couple of months now, so we're even. ;)

Oh, at least your clock changed when it's supposed to change. My computer clocked automatically changed over the weekend, but guess what? The government has decided to extend daylight saving by another week, so I'm technically one hour behind everyone. Bah!

All my fault, huh? *grins* I never belonged to a fan club when I was a kid. Seem odd to do so as an adult. But we have fun and I really do admire Mr. Wingfield's work.

Sounds like you have been exceptionally busy. Kudos.
